Q) Can I have a babysitter added to my Membership Pass?A) This year we are selling babysitter passes. Each family may have 2 babysitters listed on their pool membership for a $50.00 fee. Only one babysitter may be at the pool with your children. The babysitter is NOT a member of Dunsinane, but is a guest of yours and may only be at the pool with your child. Babysitter passes are done for the safety of young children. If you bring a babysitter not listed on your membership, they will need to pay the guest fee. PLEASE add the payment and the babysitter’s name to your membership application when you pay for 2013. You may add a babysitter at anytime during the season by returning to the membership page, adding a sitter and paying the $50 fee online or by printing and mailing the payment page and including the $50 fee.

Q) Where are my membership cards?A) We do not pass out any membership cards. Your family card will be located in the office. Upon arrival, if you just give your name and number (your number will be given to you at your first visit) to the desk worker, they will check your name, family members, and place your card into the in-file. Also, all guests must pay a guest fee and will not be admitted unless the member who is responsible for them has arrived. We also expect the guest to leave when the member leaves.

Q) Is there a charge to reserve a certain area of the pool grounds for a family reunion or birthday party?A) There is a $25 charge to reserve each area of the pool grounds. Each non-member guest will also pay a guest fee of $3. No charge for 3 and under. These reservations must be approved at the pool by a manager. It is advisable to make your reservations early, as these areas fill up quickly. The managers may also limit the areas available so our other members are not inconvienced. You may make reservations starting on Tuesday, May 28, 2013.

Q) Will the pool close for inclement weather?A) The safety of our members, guests, and employees is our primary concern. However, the pool rarely closes. If thunder is heard or lightning is sighted, the pool will be closed for 30 minutes from the last thunder or lightning. This decision is the sole responsibility of the manager. The lower deck, grassy areas, and tennis courts will also be closed during this time.

Q) What should I do if I have a suggestion, concern, or complaint?A) Contact the manager on duty. Also you may contact any board member. Please do not contact other employees who are on duty, unless it is an emergency. You may also send us an email. Please use the “contact us” tab on the left of our home page at dunsinane.org.
